Nathan Sawyer has been building in the Piedmont/Triad since 2007 and over the years has developed professional relations throughout the industry. Because of this, we have become well known as builders who prioritize quality. Additionally, Nathan is both a developer and builder which adds some unique experience and qualifications to help our customers find what they want. 

Heritage Homes of the Carolinas is a local custom home builder based in Burlington, North Carolina. Our goal is to build you a high-quality home, on time and under budget, resulting in a satisfied customer. We are a full-service builder, with a design studio in downtown Burlington, and we keep all financing in-house. This means we have the freedom and ability to truly cater to the needs of our clients.

Shawn has been in the construction industry for over 30 years. Alongside his involvement in numerous other projects over his career, Shawn has been an integral part of the project at Fiori Hill; Hillsborough’s first pocket neighborhood. His oversight of this project focused on working with clients’ designs and selections to ensure a curated home experience for each owner. From putting in the streets and utilities, through final construction of each client’s home, Shawn’s supervision and care led not only to building homes but building a community.

Eco Conscious Developer

Bob graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1971 and holds a B. S. in Business Administration. After successful years in the business world, he began to explore spirituality and consciousness in 1991. He has practiced and taught meditation and yoga since 1991. He has taught stress management and performance enhancement at Duke University and independently. He has traveled globally focusing on third world cultures. His spectrum of diverse experiences has provided him insights and openings to himself which he willingly shares with others. Over the last 15 years Bob has worked to acquire the current land assemblage that has been developed into Winding Creek and surrounding lands. His love of nature is displayed here and at his retreat adjacent to Winding Creek in Mebane, North Carolina where he lives.
